Making things and drawing has always been part of my life. I have worked in 3-D, using clay, metal and found objects and also 2-D with collage and drawing.
The process of playing with and exploring materiels brings me joy and satisfaction. It helps me to feel more at home with myself and the world.
A piece of work or series of work may be initiated by the feeling or 'nature' of a particular place, as in the case of site- specific work . eg 'Singing Pots' . Singing Pots was also shaped through collaboration with musician, Susanna Bearfoot. For more info on site specific, see site specific.
Drawing and collage are a constant source of exploration for me, the outcomes, often not known until I have finished!

I have a life long interest and love of physical movement and have been practicing Tai Chi and Chi Gong since I was 20. I run a local a workshop in a method of chi gung called Taijiwuxigong . I am also interested in meditation and have been exploring my own healing and meditative practice for many years, with great help and support from Michal Levin
